Events in Spain 2005/2006

The following is only a selection of events in Spain chosen for their popularity or cultural value. Whenever possible, we have given the exact dates but changes may occur without previous notice to this Office. In all cases, confirmation of dates of vents, both listed or not, is to be sought from the local tourist offices, closer to the time, or, when stated, from the festival organisers. They can also assist with further details on the events. Dates are for year 2006 unless otherwise specifically indicated. Previous years  past  events have been left for reference when no dates for the current period are available. Also included are those future events known to this office.National and Regional Public holidays are set by the Spanish Parliament during the last term of the preceding year. Local events calendars and programmes are established by the cultural departments of the relevant councils and are not usually published until quite near the time of the celebrations. This list is updated frequently; therefore any information on these events, festivals and holidays available from us at any given time is included herewith.
