CHARGES.- The above rates are quoted in Pesetas; they refer to motorbikes, cars and cars towing single axlel trailers. Cars towing double axlel caravans pay about 65% extra and lorries pay approximately double the shown prices. Payment has normally got to be made in Pesetas in cash. Most major credit cards are also accepted. Payment modalities are duly advertised at the toll booths. There are no special concessions on Spanish motorways tolls for visitors. A travel ticket is issued on entering the motorway which must be shown at the toll booth on leaving or changing to a different motorway.

SOS.- SOS posts are located on both sides of the carriageway at 2 kms. intervals.

REST AREAS.- With parking facilities, petrol stations*, toilets, coffee shops and public telephone are strategically placed and are well sign posted.
